Mission statement:
To find, record, excavate, raise, bring ashore, preserve, publish, report on and display for all time in Portsmouth the Mary Rose; to promote and develop interest, research and knowledge relating to the Mary Rose and all matters related to the underwater cultural heritage; to be an international museum of Tudor life, and a recognised centre of excellence for maritime archaeology and the conservation of material recovered from underwater.
